Elizabeth - Elizabeth Peddey Melbourne

Elizabeth is passionate about the demystification of home cooking.

Elizabeth teaches home cooks who cannot cook or who want to cook better.  Her experience spans over a decade within the industry as a culinary consultant, teacher, television presenter, food writer and caterer.

She is an active committee member of the International Wine and Food Society (Vic branch), a member of Slow Food International, and she volunteers in the Elwood Primary School Kitchen Garden Program.

Elizabeth has a Master’s degree in Gastronomy, awarded by Le Cordon Bleu in conjunction with the University of Adelaide.

She lives with her husband Mark in Elwood. They have three adult children. In 2001, her family lived in Southern Italy for a year where Elizabeth deepened her passion for the food and lifestyle of the Mediterranean.

Currently Elizabeth spends her time between her home in Elwood where she teaches, and her house in the south of Italy, where she hosts gastronomic and cultural tours to this area of the Mediterranean.
